Is there a booking fee?
No.
Do you require a deposit payment when I book?
Depends how far in advance the booking is made, more than 30 days we will take 50% upfront and remainder 30 days prior. Within 30 days full payment needs to be made.
Do we have to book a fixed number of days?
Generally, a minimum of two nights
Can you check the availability of a property for me and confirm by email?
All availability should be shown live on the website but if you have a specific availability request, we are happy to look into that and respond by email.
Do you have standard start/finish rental days?
No.
How do I pay the balance of my booking?
By debit or credit card, or by bank transfer, at least 30 days before the start of the rental.
What documentation do we need to bring with us?
Only the booking confirmation.
When will I receive my booking confirmation?
When we have receipt of the deposit.
Do you offer travel insurance?
No.
Can I book a ferry crossing when I make my booking?
No.
Can I make amendments to my booking?
You must first contact us to discuss your changes.
Are there any ‘extra’ charges?
Yes, we charge £45 per small well-behaved pet. We charge £25 per day per additional parking space (subject to availability, capped at £75 per stay). We charge £80 if the hot tub is required which pays for the clean and set up.
What if I have to cancel?

How do I get the keys?
24 hours prior to your stay you will be contacted with the entry codes for the building and a personalised timed code for access to the key box for your individual flat.
Will the property have a Fridge/Freezer/Cooker/Dishwasher?
Yes.
What about phones?
No landline is available at 48 Banks Road.
What about internet access?
Free broadband is provided.
What time should I arrive at and depart from the property?
You can arrive at the property to begin your rental AFTER 4:00PM. On the last day of your rental, you must vacate the property NO LATER THAN 10:30AM. Subject to availability we can provide early/late check out at a small cost.
Is there parking at the property?
Yes, we charge £25 per day per additional parking space (subject to availability, capped at £75 per stay).
Is 48 Banks Road suitable for a wheelchair user/person with restricted mobility?
There is a lift in the property and all bedrooms are on the same level. We recommend that you call to discuss your requirements before proceeding with a booking.
Can I take an extra person/infant?
We can provide a travel cot and highchair for infants.
Can we smoke inside the property?
48 Banks Road is strictly NON-SMOKING throughout.
Are pets allowed?
Small, house-trained pets are allowed at 48 Banks Road for a charge of £45 per pet per stay.
Will I need to pay for the property to be cleaned?
48 Banks Road is extensively cleaned prior to and after a rental.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes
Will there be a TV at the property?
Yes, there are 43″ smart televisions in every room
Will I need to pay a security/damage deposit?
It is at our discretion if we request a damage deposit or not. This can be up to £1,000 which is returned once the onsite staff have confirmed everything is in order (max 48 hours). We do request copy of lead guest’s passport and proof of address on all bookings.
Will there be cots and highchairs at the property?
Yes, there are highchairs and travel cots.
What should I do if I have a complaint about the property?
If there is a problem during the rental period, it will be dealt with by the owner’s representative. After the rental period, all comments may be submitted by email via the web site.
What if we want to stay longer?
Call or email us to check availability.
Do we need to clean the property before we leave?
No, but at the end of a rental, guests are asked to dispose of all refuse, and leave all cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils clean.
What do I do with the keys when I leave?
Keys need to be returned to the key box upon leaving the property.
